Semi-Automatic Sleeve Wrappers

ME Shrinkwrap semi-automatic sleeve wrappers are designed and manufactured in the UK for transit and distribution packaging using polyethylene shrink film. They provide a straightforward way to wrap collated or bulk products where strength and stability during handling and transport are required. 

Available in 500mm, 700mm and 900mm sealing blade widths, the machines handle a wide range of pack sizes, from individual products through to tray collations and bundled packs.

Transit & Distribution Shrink Wrapping Systems 

These machines are commonly used where transport protection is more important than presentation finish.

They are particularly suited to mid-volume production where manual loading is preferred, but higher output is required than manual wrapping methods can comfortably achieve.

With speeds of up to 12 collations per minute (pack dependent), they provide steady and dependable throughput without the complexity of a fully automatic line.

Each system is built to EN13849 safety standards and designed for consistent day-to-day industrial use.

How the Sleeve Wrapping Process Works

Products are manually positioned within the sealing area as single packs or pre-collated bundles.

Polyethylene film is formed around the product and sealed to create a sleeve. The pack then passes through a shrink tunnel, where heat causes the film to contract tightly around the load.

The finished wrap provides secure containment suitable for palletising, warehouse handling and distribution.
